Connect and grow
We at Covenant have a variety of opportunities to connect as adults and grow together as the Body of Christ. We hope among these opportunities, you find one that feels right for you.
Young Adult Brunches
Our young singles and couples gather regularly for brunch after church at a local restaurant for sumptuous food and sparkling conversation!
Wine and Cheese Gatherings
(or Coffee and Dessert)
Covenant is planning a series of evenings to connect with each other over wine and cheese, or coffee and dessert. We are in the process of working out the details with our hosts and will update the calendar as soon as we have scheduled dates.
If you would like to host an evening at your home, please contact us and we’ll get back to you to set up a date. You may call us at 303.779.5400 or email the church office at email@example.com
Women's Bible Study
With Pastor Barb
Alpha Circle meets on twice a month (2nd & 4th Mondays) from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. in the church Library. This year, we are going to be studying Diana Bass's book Grateful: The Subversive Practice of Giving Thanks. Books can be purchased for $12. We always have wonderful sharing and prayer time and would love to have you join us!
Presbyterian Women Church of the Covenant
PWCC meets for breakfast regularly on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-11am. PWCC’s purpose is to strengthen the community of women in the congregation and to work in conjunction with the Presbyterian Women at the local, regional and national levels. We would love to have you join us for fellowship, mission, study and fun! Contact Annely Noble at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Prayer Quilt Group
The Prayer Quilt group meets monthly on the first Monday of the month. We meet from 6 PM to 9 PM. We have fun at our “work time”. We invite young, old, men, women, sewers and non-sewers. We will teach you a variety of quilting skills and hope you will consider coming to our prayer quilt party!
A quilt is made for a person in need or crisis and then placed outside our sanctuary. As each attendee of the service leaves the church, he or she is invited to tie a knot in the quilt and say a prayer for the person. We pray for health issues, comfort issues, and for difficult times. The number of prayers that are sent forth for each person is powerful. Please contact Esther Hudson at email@example.com for more information.
Ladies Bridge Group
We would like to invite anyone who would care to come play bridge on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy the fellowship. We each contribute $1. Funds collected are used for church projects. We typically play until 2:30 p.m.
