Missions

At Covenant, we believe mission (or the idea of “being sent”) flows from a compassionate God whose love calls us to live out the Kingdom of God in the here and now. The Holy Spirit encourages and enables us as the Body of Christ to put God’s Word into action, facilitating God’s transformation in the lives of communities.

Below are all the missions our church particpate in and support!

Village Resource Center (V.R.C.)

Covenant, along with the churches in Greenwood Village, partner together in a mission to offer emergency financial assistance and help individuals connect with other resources in our community for help to get back on their feet. Instead of each church having a small fund to offer assistance, the churches are combining their financial resources into one fund called The Village Fund.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, you can contact the V.R.C. at:

Phone: (720)-636-5382

Website: The Village Resource Center

(The phone is checked twice a week so please wait for assistance.)

Guatemala Mission Partnership

Covenant is in partnership with First of Englewood, St. Andrew, Good Shepherd Presbyterian (all in Denver Presbytery) and Living Waters for the World to provide safe drinking water, health and spiritual education, and micro business training. Since its founding in 2013, the Partnership has installed one water purification system per year in towns and rural Mayan villages. We are dedicated to building long term, authentic, and enduring relationships with the pastors and families in these communities.  Covenant welcomes your support and involvement both here in the United States and on our mission trips.

If you'd like more information on how to donate or volunteer, visit the Guatemala Mission Partnership website by clicking HERE.

Help for the Homeless

There is a bin located in the church lobby where donations of necessities such as toiletries and clothes for all ages are stored. Food needs are handled through our Covenant Cupboard on Fridays, and financial aid is handled through Village Resource Center.

If you'd like to donate to our clothing or toiletries bin, those looking for help would greatly appreciate it.

William K. Bryan Endowment Fund

If you'd like financial assistance for any mission work, we ask you to apply for our William K. Bryan Endowment Fund. A generous donor separated money aside at Covenant to help with any missions in which our church may be a part. This is a great place to start if you're looking for a grant to help support your mission.
