Covenant is committed to supporting the spiritual, emotional, and mental growth of our children and youth. With dedicated ministers and volunteers, we work together to care for students in ways that reflect the love of Jesus. We strive to create an environment filled with joy, learning, and meaningful relationships, partnering with parents so kids can thrive in a supportive community. We know raising a family is a full-time job, and we’re here to walk alongside you.

Our Children's Ministry
For children 3 years old to 5th grade age!

Each Sunday, following our “Time for Kids” moment in worship, children head to the Youth Room for a mix of storytelling, crafts, and games. Guided by the Spark curriculum, our team helps kids explore the Bible in age-appropriate and meaningful ways. We’d love for your child to join this fun and welcoming environment where faith and curiosity grow together. Kids can be picked up from the Youth Room once the service ends.

Kid's Table in the Sanctuary

We want every child to feel at home in our worship service. While sanctuaries often feel geared toward adults, Covenant has intentionally created space for kids right in the room. Our activity table includes crayons, worksheets, and other hands-on items for kids who like to stay busy while they worship with us. Families are welcome to use this space anytime! We gladly embrace the rustling pages, coloring sounds, and the joyful noise that comes with having children in our service.

Youth Ministry

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

We have a small yet active Youth Ministry for student sin Middle School and High School. We partner with Grace Presbyterian for Youth Ministry events like Summer Mission trips and general service opportunities. If you have any questions about the program or would like to ask about upcoming events, please email Pastor Alex at alex@covenantdtc.org

Prayer Partners

At Covenant we invite our students from elementary to high school to join our Prayer Partner program. This is a program where we partner one of our students with a background-checked adult in our congregation. We do this to connect our students to the broader congregation and to provide them support outside of our typical family ministry. Our goal with this program is to provide connection, mentorship, and spiritual growth to both students and adults.

Our adults connect with students about once a month to figure out what each person needs prayer for, and both the student and the adult pray for one another throughout the month. We also offer larger gatherings where our Prayer Partners can all come together to compete in games, eat good food, and continue to grow in faith together.

For more information about our Prayer Partner program, please email Pastor Alex at alex@covenantdtc.org.

Milestone Program

In our commitment to a vibrant community we have a program for our Family Ministry called the "Milestone Program." This is a program in which we celebrate certain "milestones" our students accomplish; accomplishments include things like birthdays, baptisms, confirmation classes, mission trip participation, getting their driver's license, and more! On a chosen Sunday morning throughout the month, we'll coordinate with parents to present a physical stone in our normal worship service. We take time out of our worship to celebrate with our congregation and honor the accomplishments of our students.

If you have any questions about our "Milestone Program" please email Pastor Alex at alex@covenantdtc.org.
